Background to
Bodymind Attunement
In clinical practise with groups and individuals since 1981,
Ruth Noble has extensive experience of the relationship
between body, mind and Spirit through study, experience
and teaching.
She has practised as a psychotherapist and movement healer,
and run dance and movement courses in UK and New
Zealand. She is a founder member of The Association
for Therapeutic Healers (affiliated to the Confederation of
Healing Organisations).
She is now a Rhythmic Healer, a process she has developed during her professional and personal experience in Eastern and Western therapeutic practises
Her study with two Indonesian movement teachers led to
a need to articulate her experience and understanding of
dynamic movement. The resulting dissertation undertaken
during study for a Masters Degree (awarded 2001) was a
pilot study into ‘The Experience and Understanding of the
Life Force in Eastern and Western Bodymind Movement
Practices’.
Since 1999 Ruth Noble has been receiving channelled
dynamic movement healing experience and teaching.
The development of rhythmic healing began in 1994,
resulting from integration in her practise between her
Western and Eastern experiences and understanding of
the healing process, as she has taught and sat with people
in distress. She has continued to develop the process
of rhythmic healing under the name of Bodymind
Attunement.
